Prior to joining the firm, he was the Chief of Staff of US Senator John Breaux for 2 years and formerly Special Assistant to U.S. Senator Bennett Johnston. Previously, Mr. Hudson was elected to the Louisiana State Senate where he served for 12 years and was elected President Pro Tempore and Chairman of the Commerce Committee.

During his career, Mr. Schellstede has owned and operated two major shipyards, an engineering and development company, and co-founded and operated Wind Energy Systems Technology ("WEST") which he formed five years ago. During this time, he managed a workforce of 500 - 750 personnel. His company was responsible for the design and construction of many offshore platforms and drilling rigs.
